Wenche Lyngholm

State Secretary - Ministry of Government Administration and Reform, Norway


She has political experience from all three levels of public service.


Political positions:

Between 2002 and 2005, Wenche Lyngholm was an Auditor-General. Until 1995, she was in the National council of SV (Sosialistisk Venstreparti - Socialistic Left Party)

She has also been Member of Parliament: member of the Parliamentary Committee for Education and Church Affairs, and Chair of the municipal main committee for church, culture and leisure activities in the city of Moss.


Professional experience: (Mainly within the field of organisational development)

In 2005 Wenche Lyngholm was Director of Personnel and administration in the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration.

Between 2004 and 2005 she was an Educational director in The Federation of Norwegian Agricultural Co-operatives.

She has worked as Project director of The Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities (KS), had different positions in The Norwegian Railroad company NSB and was director of education.


Other positions:

She was in the Board of directors of Sparebank 1 between 2000 and 2002.

From 1997 to 2003: The Festival Council and board of directors, the Nordic culture festival Momentum and leader of the Contact Forum, Momentum.
